The Decision to Work Remotely

How will clients react? Can we manage working from home? Will prospective clients take us seriously? How can we create a space that will be inspiring and productive? All these questions came rushing in with COVID and the challenges that came with it. Now, a year later, we are so thrilled with our decision. We worked through the challenges, transformed the workshop next to our house into a working studio, and continue build out our backyard to create a space that is not only welcoming, but relaxing to our clients, partners, family, and friends.

Working remotely had its challenges in the beginning - Like many of our clients we faced the usual challenges of zoom meetings, budget cuts, travel restrictions, time management, and on top of everything else the challenges of the construction to transform the workshop into a studio.

As we look back, we see that the decision has made a huge difference for us. Our operating costs went down substantially, and we feel more productive than ever, which has helped us keep our rates competitive, invest back into our business, and help clients navigate through these tough economic times.
